check_if_free returns a verdict, plain-English catch, official source link and last verified date for a named service or entitlement.
find_entitlements returns a shortlist for broad tags such as parent, over 60, disabled, student or low income.
Unknown or unverified entries return not yet checked. The server never invents an answer.
